Event Description:
Red Wing is “swimming” with fishermen this week! The Chamber, the Visitors & Convention Bureau and the City of Red Wing, along with Eric Olson (Get on the Water) and Don Kliewer (Q Media), were instrumental in getting the FLW Fishing Tournament in Red Wing this week. Festivities started Tuesday night with Chevy Pro Night at Red Wing Chevrolet, where approximately 90 people met with the FLW Walleye Pro Anglers. Last night we served dinner to approximately 300 fishermen and the FLW crew at the Armory. This morning we attended the opening program and watched 110 boats take off from Bay Point Park at 6:30AM. Weigh-ins start on Thursday and Friday at 2PM at Bay Point Park. The Top 10 Boats go out on Saturday for the final day and the weigh in is at 4PM at the Walmart Parking lot
