Barbara Battiste, Director of the MN Legislative Office on the Economic Status of Women will be in Red Wing, Monday, June 9, 9:30-10:30AM at the Mayo Professional and Community Center, 1407 W. 4th St. (previously St. John's Hospital). Her primary reason is to listen to the stories in our community of the economic security issues for women, education, housing, jobs, job training, health and safety. This is a great opportunity to provide input to those working at the policy level to address these issues and have our voices heard. Senator Schmit and Rep Kelly have also been invited and the public is invited to attend this event.
