Johanna Grothe, with the Goodhue County Historical Society will have a Railroad display and answer questions on June 8 from 11AM-2PM. Goodhue County Historical Society is Minnesota’s oldest county historical society chartered in 1869. The trail was a former Chicago Great Western Railroad line connecting the cities of Cannon Falls, Welch and Red Wing in beautiful southeastern Minnesota. The Cannon Valley Trail is open from Cannon Falls to Red Wing. Please use caution.... there is still wood/branch debris near the edge of the Trail.
