Stop at the Welch site on the Cannon Valley Trail on September 6 from 11AM-2PM for accordion entertainment by Dan Schwan; Rod Johnson, archaeologist will have an interesting display and demonstrate “Flintknapping,” a process Indians used to make tools and weapons; the Goodhue County Historical Society will display history of Goodhue County and the Cannon River Watershed will be available to give out information on the Cannon River projects.
