HYPE—Intergenerational Communication and Generational Differences in the Workplace--Presented by Dr. Sarah Wolter—Noon-1PM—Ignite Building
Sarah will address intergenerational communication in the workplace, highlighting characteristics of the four different generations (Veterans, Boomers, Generation Xers, and Millennials) and offer suggestions for collaboration between employees in these generations. Intergenerational communication is ultimately about knowing one’s audience, so strategic communication between individuals is imperative for a successful work environment. Participants will be presented with tactics on mitigating conflict between generations and will analyze their own experiences with intergenerational communication. Reservations are required!
