Event Description:
Join us for the newly re-formed NAMI chapter at the National Alliance on Mental Illness Goodhue County, Inc. Grand Kick-off & Fundraiser on October 14, from 4:30-6PM at Christ Episcopal Church (321 West Avenue, Red Wing). This event will also pay tribute to Bob Glasnapp, retiring Director of the Goodhue County Mental Health Center. In addition, the Red Wing Ambassadors will be doing a formal ribbon cutting at 5PM to help launch the newly re-formed NAMI chapter. This event is free and open to all members of our community and will feature entertainment (Phil’s Harmonics) and food. NAMI Goodhue County, Inc. will also provide you with an opportunity to make a goodwill donation to enhance their capacity to provide education, advocacy and support to individuals and their families who experience the challenges of mental illness in Goodhue County.
