Event Description:
The Port Authority is sponsoring a Peer Networking Meeting in the Council Chambers in City Hall. The objective is to help familiarize downtown businesses with the resources that are available to assist them with their financial and business needs. This meeting focus will be on downtown businesses and better understanding their struggles and how the available resources can assist. Local bankers will begin with a brief overview of lending in these economic times and the regulatory changes that have occurred, followed by the Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical, Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation and the Port Authority about the role they play in financing a project. This meeting is open to all downtown businesses.
