Red Wing Health Center (with the support of their parent company, Welcoy Healthcare) is excited and proud to invite friends in the Red Wing community to the opening of Brain Injury Services and the unveiling of the newly remodeled Red Wing Health Care Community on May 7 from 2-6PM. Special guest speakers David King (Executive Director of the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance) and Russ Philstrom (a Brain Injury Survivor) will speak from 3-4PM with a Ribbon Cutting at 5 PM. Food and refreshments will be served. Tours of the facility will be available.
In 2012, Red Wing Health Center was the recipient of a large grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services. The grant was predicated on a vision of more specialized health care and rehabilitation services with an emphasis on developing the most comprehensive post-hospital recovery service for persons with brain injury.
