Sargent’s Nursery (3352 North Service Drive) is hosting the Winter Farmer’s Market through the end of February from 9AM-1PM. This Saturday, they will offer a Build Your Own Terrarium workshop from 10-11AM. Sargent’s Nursery will demonstrate the steps for building a terrarium, including planting mediums, plants that work together, and maintenance. Stay “green” and check those cupboards, attic, or thrift store to find a unique clear, glass container to create your terrarium (.e.g., fish bowl, larger vase, and food storage container). Class fee $25-$35 depending on size of container and plants selected. Also, the Humane Society will have several adoptable animals available at the Market.
