Sargent’s Nursery (3352 North Service Drive) is hosting the Winter Farmer’s Market through the end of February from 9AM--Noon. They are offering two Ice Lantern Workshops on December 8 & 15 at 11:30 AM. Using your own water and a lantern mold, you can make beautiful ice lanterns to decorate your walk or front porch. Cost is $15 and includes one new lantern mold, instruction sheet and all the tips you need to make your own ice lanterns.
They are also offering a Holiday-themed Miniature Garden workshop on December 8 at 10 AM. Do you just love Miniatures and Fairy gardens? This season they are offering you the chance to make your unique miniature holiday themed garden with a sled, sleigh, reindeer or even a little snow! Bring your own pot, birdbath top, or other planting container and Sargent’s will bring provide the rest! This class includes soil, plants and a great selection of miniature items. Cost is $35 and up (base price $25 includes all soil, pebbles, soil cover & plants, cost of additional materials varies on miniature item selected).
