Long Time Gone, a favorite bluegrass band, will kick off the new year of the Sheldon at Fairview music series. They will appear at the medical center on Friday, January 7, at 7:30 AM in the Garden View Café. “This series allows us to bring music to our patients, staff and visitors as part of the healing environment at the medical center,” says Scott Wordelman, president and CEO of Fairview Red Wing. “We have been pleased to present a variety of music over the past 18 months and Long Time Gone was one of the most popular of the series, I’m looking forward to their return.” Sheldon at Fairview offers free performances on the first Friday of each month at 7:30 AM. During the concerts, the Garden View Café offers breakfast specials to purchase. The series is funded in part by a grant from the Southeast Minnesota Arts Council with funding from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Minnesota State Legislature
