Seminary Home, St. Brigid’s at Hi-Park and the Benedictine Health System (BHS) are pleased to announce the ground blessing and ground breaking ceremony, June 12 at 2 PM, for the new St. Crispin Living Community located across from Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing, 636 Hewitt Boulevard. All are welcome! Speakers will include Dale Thompson, BHS CEO, Chris Boldt, Vice President of Operations, Dr. Tom Witt, CEO Mayo Clinic Health System Red Wing, Lake City and Cannon Falls and Representative Tim Kelly. The St. Crispin Living Community project represents a unique partnership created in 2010 through state legislation. This new state-of-the-art facility will feature 80 skilled nursing beds, 40 post-acute care, and 40 long-term care. The two-level facility will also feature neighborhood concepts with a new model of senior care and a rehabilitation center equipped with a therapeutic pool. Construction of the new facility is expected to begin this August. The facility is slated to open fall 2014.
