Event Description:
Day of Action uses the power of people to conduct a community wide volunteer engagement day with teams of volunteers from area businesses working at volunteer project sites in our communities - setting aside ONE DAY to see, feel and embrace what it means to LIVE UNITED.
Process
What you can do now:
1. If you are interested in participating, call 651-388-6309 or email tonya.roth@uw-gwp.org
2. Start recruiting your employees and coworkers to team up and complete a project!
3. You will be contacted when projects are available to be viewed and selected.
Process
- Area nonprofits will have various projects available to be completed on September 29 throughout Goodhue, Wabasha & Western Pierce counties.
- United Way will coordinate all communication and ongoing support to both projects and volunteers.
